Carlos Alcaraz holds the strongest position in the 2026 US Open winner market as the defending champion returning from a right wrist injury that sidelined him from prior Grand Slams. His straight-sets victories through the fourth round, including against Tommy Paul, have reinforced trader confidence in his hard-court form and shot-making. Jannik Sinner’s pre-tournament knee withdrawal opened the bracket further for Alcaraz. Alexander Zverev sits second after reaching quarterfinals at all four majors in 2026, including a French Open title, and advancing with improved straight-sets wins despite early five-setters. Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, and Karen Khachanov trail with realistic paths as in-form Americans and recent upset winners, though facing tougher draw tests ahead on the Laykold surface.
