A presidential election is scheduled to take place in Brazil on October 4, 2026. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate that wins this election. This market includes any potential second round. If the result of this election isn't known by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Brazilian government, specifically the Superior Electoral Court (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, TSE) (e.g., https://dadosabertos.tse.jus.br/).Lula da Silva, the incumbent Workers’ Party president seeking a fourth term, leads trader pricing at 63.5% amid consistent first-round polling advantages of 38–43% and stronger runoff margins against main challenger Flávio Bolsonaro. The August 16 campaign launch, Lula’s debt-relief expansions and fuel subsidies, and stable approval ratings near 47% have reinforced his position ahead of the October 4 vote. Flávio Bolsonaro, representing the Liberal Party and positioned as a continuity candidate for the right while Jair Bolsonaro remains ineligible, holds 32.6% on the back of 31–37% first-round support but trails in most head-to-head scenarios. Fragmented right-wing alternatives such as Ronaldo Caiado and Renan Santos remain below 5%, limiting vote consolidation risks for the frontrunners as the first debate approaches later this month.
