This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump says the listed term between September 1, 2026, 12:00AM ET and September 30, 2026, 11:59PM ET. Otherwise, the market will resolve to "No". Written usages of terms (e.g. Truth Social posts, written statements, etc.) will not count toward this market's resolution. For full rules, see: https://polymarket-upload.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/market_products/Mentions/Period+Mentions+Contract+DeFi.pdfPresident Trump’s active trade agenda, including new tariffs and retaliatory measures against Canada effective early September, has centered recent public statements on exposed sectors such as aerospace, autos, and semiconductors. His Truth Social posts have directly referenced specific firms including Bombardier amid the Canada dispute, while AI policy comments have highlighted companies like Anthropic and broader data-center operators. Scheduled diplomacy and business roundtables, including the mid-September Ireland trip, create additional opportunities for naming firms tied to onshoring pledges or investment announcements. Traders monitor these catalysts because historical patterns show Trump frequently cites individual companies when discussing duties, supply chains, or administration priorities, with outcomes hinging on developments through the end of the month.
