This market will resolve to the player who finishes in 1st place on the official 2026 World Series of Poker Player of the Year (POY) leaderboard at the conclusion of all POY-qualifying events. If a player not individually listed as an outcome finishes 1st on the final POY leaderboard, this market will resolve to "Other". If two or more players are tied for 1st on the final POY leaderboard, this market will resolve according to the official WSOP POY tiebreaker procedure. If a tie remains with no official resolution, the market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 WSOP POY race is cancelled, or a final leaderboard is not determined by January 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from WSOP (https://www.wsop.com/2026-poy/poy-leaderboard/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Shaun Deeb holds a slim lead atop the 2026 WSOP Player of the Year standings with 3,410 points, just 22 ahead of Naoya Kihara and 29 clear of William Foxen, creating tight implied probabilities in the trader consensus. The narrow margins stem from consistent deep runs and high-value cashes across the Las Vegas schedule, where top performers accumulated points through final tables and strong finishes in mixed-game and high-stakes events. With only the top 15 results counting toward the leaderboard and limited remaining opportunities post-series, small swings in upcoming tournaments or Paradise events could still shift the order among the clustered leaders. This bunched positioning reflects the depth of the field and the impact of consistent volume rather than single-event dominance.
