Shaun Deeb holds a slim lead atop the 2026 WSOP Player of the Year standings with 3,410 points, just 22 ahead of Naoya Kihara and 29 clear of William Foxen, creating tight implied probabilities in the trader consensus. The narrow margins stem from consistent deep runs and high-value cashes across the Las Vegas schedule, where top performers accumulated points through final tables and strong finishes in mixed-game and high-stakes events. With only the top 15 results counting toward the leaderboard and limited remaining opportunities post-series, small swings in upcoming tournaments or Paradise events could still shift the order among the clustered leaders. This bunched positioning reflects the depth of the field and the impact of consistent volume rather than single-event dominance.
