Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” holds an overwhelming market-implied lead for the #2 U.S. Spotify song of 2026 at 78.5% implied probability, driven by its extended 2026 resurgence. After a TikTok-fueled revival that pushed the 2024 release to its first U.S. daily #1 in late June—with streams surging nearly 70%—the track maintained strong daily momentum through September, frequently ranking in the top five with over one million U.S. streams. Recent Billboard Hot 100 gains to No. 19 and top positioning on niche streaming tallies reinforce its cumulative volume. Traders appear to discount newer or re-emerging tracks like Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” and Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need,” which show solid but narrower daily leads, while legacy entries remain near-zero. Key catalysts ahead include final-quarter streaming trends and any late-year promotional pushes that could shift annual totals before year-end lock.
