The Swiss Super League's 2026-27 runner-up market reflects broad parity among the 12-team field early in the campaign, with historical powerhouses like Young Boys and Basel joined by consistent performers such as Lugano, St. Gallen, and Sion. Thun's surprise 2025-26 title win reset expectations, highlighting how mid-table sides can surge while established clubs face roster turnover and European commitments. The split format after 33 matches rewards sustained form across the regular season and championship round, keeping multiple clubs within striking distance. Early results show no dominant side emerging, sustaining trader consensus around even implied probabilities for the runner-up spot amid typical preseason uncertainty over injuries, transfers, and tactical adjustments.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
