Romina Ccuno enters this ITF W35 Chacabuco first-round clay-court match as the clear favorite due to her superior WTA ranking near 1040 and greater experience at age 23 compared to 18-year-old Sofia Meabe, ranked around 1406. Ccuno arrives with strong recent momentum after a straight-sets qualifying win over Agustina Daniela Duarte and consistent South American ITF appearances on clay this season. Meabe, an Argentine wild card or qualifier with a career-high ranking of 1318, has shown limited results at this level, including a recent straight-sets loss in Asuncion. With no prior head-to-head history, traders weigh Ccuno’s established form and ranking edge against Meabe’s potential home-soil motivation in the opening round of the outdoor red-clay event.
