Baltimore Orioles (65-68) visit the St. Louis Cardinals (66-68) on August 27 at Busch Stadium for the series finale, with Baltimore seeking a sweep after 13-1 and 8-7 wins. The Orioles sit 2.5 games behind Cleveland for the final AL wild-card spot and have won five of their last ten, while the Cardinals have dropped five straight and trail by six games for the NL wild card. Left-hander Trevor Rogers (9-8, 4.14 ERA) starts for Baltimore after strong recent form, facing a Cardinals rotation thinned by injuries to starters including Andre Pallante and Hunter Dobbins, with Gordon Graceffo or debutant Cooper Hjerpe expected.
