The BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club features a deep field of FedEx Cup playoff qualifiers where no single player has separated in early betting for second-round leader. Recent form from the ongoing St. Jude Championship, including Scottie Scheffler's strong positioning, combines with historical venue trends and course-fit advantages for players like Ludvig Åberg, Rory McIlroy, and Collin Morikawa to keep implied probabilities tightly clustered near even money. Roster health, rest advantages after travel, and typical second-round volatility in stroke-play events further support the competitive balance, as the wisdom of crowds prices realistic contention for dozens of contenders without a dominant signal emerging yet.
