This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the MLS for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of MLS for the 2026 season per the rules of MLS (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the MLS; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 MLS regular season has featured exceptional parity through mid-August, with Nashville SC atop the Eastern Conference on 40 points from 18 matches while Inter Miami sits second on 38, and Western Conference sides like Vancouver Whitecaps, LAFC, and Real Salt Lake clustered closely behind on points and goal difference. This tight Supporters' Shield race, combined with strong recent form from multiple clubs across conferences, has produced a bunched market where implied probabilities for runner-up sit within a narrow 36-43% band for over two dozen teams. Roster depth, consistent results in key stretches, and the absence of any single dominant side pulling clear continue to sustain trader consensus around this group rather than consolidating behind one or two frontrunners.
