This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 47–50% for the 2026–27 Swiss Super League runner-up reflects broad parity among a dozen clubs following the league’s expansion and recent shifts in form. Defending champions FC Thun face heightened expectations after their surprise prior title, while traditional powers like BSC Young Boys, FC Basel, and Servette FC undergo roster adjustments through the summer transfer window. FC Lausanne-Sport’s acquisition of promising young forward Enzo Molebe on loan from Lyon adds attacking depth, and sides such as FC Lugano, FC St. Gallen, and FC Sion have posted strong early results in the opening matchweeks. With no clear hierarchy beyond the title favorites and most teams boasting comparable squad depth, historical head-to-head records, and European qualification incentives, traders see multiple realistic paths to second place depending on consistency, injury management, and results in the split-phase format.
