Traders overwhelmingly back under 300k first-week units for Kanye West's 'Bully' (81.5% implied probability), reflecting diminished hype amid his ongoing controversies, including antisemitic remarks that triggered boycotts and severed major label ties. The album's surprise independent drop on SoundCloud bypassed traditional retail and streaming bundles, yielding tepid early metrics—under 5 million U.S. streams in its debut day per Luminate data—far below Ye's Vultures peaks of 148k units. Historical precedents like Donda 2's sub-200k sales underscore fanbase erosion, while 300k-400k (10.5%) trails as a cautious upside if viral moments emerge before trackers finalize midweek. Higher bins languish on absent radio play and promo.
