Samsung Lions hold a slim 53.5% implied probability as home favorites against the Hanwha Eagles in Daegu, driven by superior team ERA (4.39 vs. 5.33), elite fielding (.987 rate), and a season sweep in their April head-to-head series at Daejeon. Starting pitcher Won Tae-in (0-2, 4.11 ERA) faces Wilkel Hernandez (3-2, 5.72 ERA), who struggled badly versus Samsung earlier, bolstering trader consensus despite Samsung's recent 1-9 skid over 10 games, including yesterday's 8-5 loss to Doosan Bears. Hanwha's offense ranks second in runs per game but leaky pitching and a blowout 14-3 defeat to SSG Landers yesterday keep it competitive; late bullpen meltdowns or key returns from Samsung injuries like Choi Hyoung-woo's ankle strain could shift odds.
