Lens commands an 80% implied probability for Ligue 1 runner-up after securing 59 points from 27 matches, a 10-point cushion over third-placed Marseille and 12 clear of Lille in fifth, with seven fixtures remaining and a dominant +30 goal difference underscoring their defensive solidity. Recent stumbles among pursuers bolster this trader consensus: Marseille dropped points in a 1-2 home defeat to Lille last week, Lyon endured a 1-2 loss to surging Monaco amid poor form (four losses in five), while Lille's victory provides faint upset hope despite their deficit. Monaco's five straight wins and Rennes' consistency keep them viable at 8% and 7.5%, but Lens's consistency positions them firmly for Champions League qualification via second place.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
