This market will resolve in favor of “John/Paige” if the team of Big John and Paige Spiranac wins more holes than the team of JR Smith and Claire Hogle in the 2026 Polymarket Classic. Otherwise, this market will resolve in favor of “JR/Claire”. This match will be played as an 18-hole scramble between teams. No handicap strokes will be awarded to either player. Both teams begin even at 0-0. Best ball position will be played by each team. The team that wins each hole earns 1 point. The team who wins the most holes over 18 holes wins the match. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, a sudden-death scramble will be played until there is a winner. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the 2026 Polymarket Classic is cancelled, postponed after August 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined which team won within that timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be the official stream from the official channels of the named participants.Paige Spiranac’s low single-digit plus handicap and collegiate golf background give her team a clear edge in the 18-hole 2v2 scramble match-play format against JR Smith and Claire Hogle. Big John’s consistent ball-striking and short-game reliability further strengthen the pairing in a scramble setting that rewards accurate approach play and putting. JR Smith’s athleticism offers some upside on long drives but limited competitive golf experience leaves the duo at a disadvantage in sustained hole-by-hole execution. With the event set for August 1 in Tampa and no reported injuries or lineup changes, trader consensus at 58.5% for John/Paige reflects the matchup’s skill differential while leaving room for scramble variance and momentum swings on any given hole.
