This market will resolve to "Yes" if the named team defense/special teams (D/ST) unit finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season (Weeks 1 through 18) ranked among the top 12 D/ST units by total fantasy points under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Otherwise, that market will resolve to "No". Only regular-season games count; postseason (playoff) games are excluded. If two or more D/ST units are tied such that more than 12 would qualify for the top 12, the tie will be broken by higher fantasy points per game average for the 2026 NFL regular season, and if a tie still persists, by team name in alphabetical order, so that exactly 12 D/ST units are classified as top 12. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the rankings cannot be determined within this timeframe, all markets in this event will resolve to "No". The resolution source will be official season-total statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).Houston Texans and Denver Broncos defenses top most 2026 fantasy D/ST rankings entering training camp, driven by roster continuity, strong pass-rush depth, and favorable early schedules that historically boost sack and takeaway totals. Seattle Seahawks maintain elite status after leading fantasy scoring recently, while Los Angeles Rams gained significant edge-rush talent via offseason additions. Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles round out frequent top-tier mentions amid scheme familiarity and secondary upgrades. Ongoing camp developments around injury recoveries, depth-chart battles, and defensive coordinator transitions continue shaping projected points-allowed and turnover metrics, with traders weighing these against historical D/ST volatility in fantasy scoring systems.
