Zverev, leveraging his Indian Wells runner-up finish and baseline consistency, advanced past Tallon Griekspoor in a three-setter, showcasing improved serving under pressure. Head-to-head sits at 5-4 for Sinner, including recent hard-court victories, though Zverev's return game poses upset potential. No injuries noted on official reports; humid conditions and late-afternoon start could favor the more conditioned Sinner, while Zverev's experience in Masters 1000 semifinals adds competitiveness.
