The 2026 Liga AUF Uruguaya remains wide open for runner-up honors midway through the Apertura-Clausura-Intermedio schedule, with no single side separating itself in the aggregate table. Racing Club Montevideo, Peñarol, Deportivo Maldonado, and Albion currently sit atop recent standings after strong early results, yet Nacional (defending champions), Liverpool, Boston River, and several mid-table sides retain realistic paths via consistent points hauls and favorable remaining fixtures. The league's split-tournament format plus playoff qualification means late surges or slips can reshape the order quickly, while promoted clubs like Central Español and Deportivo Maldonado add further unpredictability. Trader consensus reflects this parity, pricing nearly every contender at identical implied probabilities amid balanced recent form and limited separation in goal difference or head-to-head records.
