Several Croatian HNL clubs enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable squad depth, recent European experience, and attacking form, preventing any single side from separating as the clear runner-up favorite behind dominant champions Dinamo Zagreb. Early-season results show strong starts from Osijek, Lokomotiva Zagreb, and Varaždin, while Hajduk Split, Rijeka, and others maintain competitive head-to-head records and solid home/away splits from the prior campaign. This balance of mid-table resources, limited injury concerns at the outset, and schedule parity keeps implied probabilities clustered tightly as traders weigh each club's realistic path to second place.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Croatian HNL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Croatian HNL (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Croatian HNL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
