Hawthorn's strong 2026 campaign, with a 14-5-1 record and third place on the AFL ladder, balances against Collingwood's mid-table position at ninth with an 11-8-1 mark heading into their Round 23 MCG clash. The sides drew their earlier April meeting, underscoring tight contests, while Hawthorn's recent form includes multiple convincing wins and Collingwood maintains competitive results through key contributors like Dan McStay. Home advantage at the 'G, combined with both clubs' finals aspirations and solid midfield structures, fuels the even 50-50 implied probability reflected in trader consensus. Late injury updates, selection changes, or MCG conditions could shift momentum heading into the final home-and-away round.
