Kimmer Coppejans enters as the trader-favored pick on the red clay of the ATP Challenger Barletta Round of 32 against higher-ranked Gilles Arnaud Bailly, buoyed by a dominant 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 head-to-head win over Bailly just 13 days ago in the Murcia Challenger quarterfinals. Coppejans rides strong clay momentum with a 6-2 record this year, including a Split Challenger semifinal run last week where he defeated Lukas Neumayer and Maxim Mrva before falling to Mili Poljicak. Bailly, a 20-year-old Belgian, struggles at 0-3 on clay recently, exiting Alicante Challenger in the opening round to Roman Safiullin amid a 2-5 skid over his last seven matches. Coppejans' experience and stylistic edge on the surface shape the closely contested implied probabilities.
