Stephen Bunting enters this World Series of Darts matchup as the clear favorite, with trader consensus reflecting his PDC ranking near the top 10 and proven consistency across major events. Recent form includes multiple nightly wins and a fifth-place finish in the 2026 BetMGM Premier League, alongside solid performances in the World Darts Championship. Raymond Smith, by contrast, has dominated Australian domestic tours with repeated ADA titles and strong WDF results but lacks equivalent exposure at the elite international level. The head-to-head dynamics favor Bunting's superior checkout finishing and experience in high-stakes televised formats, though Smith retains realistic upset potential on any given night given darts' inherent variance.
