Matthew Dellavedova enters the M15 Tianjin 2 semifinal as the clear favorite against Kosuke Ogura, reflecting a substantial ATP ranking gap (Dellavedova near 307–311 versus Ogura near 861–870) and stronger recent hard-court results. Dellavedova arrives with consistent wins in the Tianjin series and a dominant 2026 win-loss record on the surface, while Ogura’s form shows more inconsistency, including recent losses in Australian and Japanese ITF events alongside a narrow victory in the prior round. The hard-court matchup in China favors the higher-ranked Australian’s experience and baseline consistency over the Japanese player’s results at this level. No prior head-to-head exists, and both competitors are active in the draw without reported injuries or withdrawals.
