New York Yankees hold a 2-0 series lead over the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park after back-to-back shutouts, including a 3-0 win yesterday fueled by Aaron Judge's two-run homer and dominant pitching from Cam Schlittler. This early momentum tempers the impact of key Yankees absences on the injured list—Gerrit Cole, Carlos Rodón, Anthony Volpe, and Clarke Schmidt—highlighting depth in the rotation and bullpen. Today's matchup features rookie righty Will Warren for New York against veteran Tyler Mahle for San Francisco in a potential low-scoring affair under mild 66-degree conditions. Giants' home-field edge and desperation for their first win keep it closely contested amid thin offensive output so far.
