Recent owner statements in an August 2026 documentary fuel speculation about a Myspace revival, yet the Vanderhook brothers offered only vague intent to relaunch “at the right time” without announcing features, a timeline, or technical details. This follows years of minimal activity on the once-dominant platform, prior unfulfilled revival attempts, and its shift toward a niche music-focused site with modest user growth. Traders see these factors as insufficient to overcome historical barriers and the short window remaining in 2026, driving the strong 84% market-implied probability against a full relaunch this year. No major regulatory, funding, or partnership catalysts have emerged to shift that consensus.

Sí
This market will resolve to "Yes" if Myspace is relaunched between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
A qualifying relaunch is defined as the launch of a materially new or substantially redesigned version of the Myspace platform or service that is officially presented as a relaunch, revival, return, comeback, or new version of Myspace by Myspace or its owners.
The relaunch must be live and publicly accessible, including via open beta or open rolling waitlist signups. A closed beta or any form of private access will not suffice.
The continued availability of the existing Myspace website, ordinary updates or redesigns to the existing platform, the restoration or addition of individual features, or an announcement of plans to relaunch Myspace will not alone qualify.
The release must be either clearly defined and publicly announced as being accessible to the general public or otherwise made publicly accessible and explicitly labeled within the company’s official website (Myspace.com), an official Myspace subdomain, another official URL, an official mobile application or similar. Labeling errors, placeholder text, or version names displayed on the website that do not correspond to a model that is actually accessible to the general public will not qualify.
The primary resolution source will be the Myspace platform or service, as well as official information from Myspace and its owners, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
