Both arrive off recent clay setbacks—Martinez's straight-sets R32 loss to Daniel Altmaier in Bucharest last week (6-1, 6-4) and Vukic's three-set defeat to Taha Baadi in Marrakech R32—amid YTD records of 10-8 for Martinez (ranking No. 113) and 6-10 for Vukic (No. 84). Vukic's career ATP clay mark of 5-14 underscores his surface struggles, while Martinez thrives on red dirt; no injuries reported ahead of this outdoor matchup.
