In the ATP Challenger Split semifinals on outdoor clay, local wildcard Mili Poljicak (No. 396, Split native) faces sixth seed Kimmer Coppejans (No. 244) in a matchup highlighting youth versus experience. Poljicak rides momentum from straight-set upsets over eighth seed Felix Gill (6-1, 6-2) and Emanuel Ivanisevic, plus a 4-1 retirement win over top seed Matej Dodig, entering fresher after minimal court time. Coppejans, a 32-year-old veteran with a career-high No. 97, navigated rain delays with a three-set grinder over Maxim Mrva (6-4, 2-6, 7-6(3)) before dispatching third seed Lukas Neumayer (6-4, 6-3), potentially facing fatigue. No head-to-head exists; home crowd and baseline consistency could fuel Poljicak's upset bid on the slower surface.
