Evan Zhu enters this M15 Maanshan round-of-32 match on indoor hard courts as the higher-ranked player at approximately No. 673, giving him an edge in experience over the 20-year-old Hoyoung Roh ranked near No. 807. With no prior head-to-head record, recent form on hard surfaces and serve consistency become central variables in a matchup between a 27-year-old veteran of ITF events and a younger prospect. Zhu's stronger 2026 results on similar courts have shaped trader consensus toward him, though Roh's improving win-loss trends and potential for aggressive baseline play keep the contest competitive. Any confirmed injury updates or withdrawal news before the first ball would directly impact resolution.
