The New York Yankees host the Miami Marlins in their home opener at Yankee Stadium on April 3, entering with a 2-0 record after back-to-back shutouts against the Giants, fueled by dominant pitching and Aaron Judge's early home run power. Marlins sit at 1-0 following a tight 2-1 Opening Day win over the Rockies, showcasing resilience but hampered by injuries to Christopher Morel (oblique) and Maximo Acosta (10-day IL). Yankees counter ace absences—Gerrit Cole, Carlos Rodón (15-day ILs), Clarke Schmidt (60-day IL), Anthony Volpe (10-day IL)—with probable starter Will Warren facing Eury Pérez. Home-field edge and early momentum favor New York in this interleague matchup, though Yankee Stadium's hitter-friendly confines add upset potential.
