Sussex Sharks host Leicestershire Foxes in this Vitality T20 Blast cross-pool fixture at Hove on June 5, where home conditions typically favor the hosts in the 20-over format. Sussex enter on the back of three consecutive defeats that have left them bottom of the South Group, compounded by absences of key players including Henry Crocombe and James Coles on England Lions duty plus injuries to Tom Clark and Brad Currie. Leicestershire have secured just one win from their opening four North Group matches but bring overseas contributions from Nick Kelly and Ashton Turner along with Josh Davey’s bowling impact. Both sides face selection and form challenges that shape strategies around batting depth and bowling rotations in what remains a closely contested group-stage encounter.
