Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Tokyo's highest temperature market reflects 100% trader consensus on 25°C or higher at Haneda Airport Station, driven by official observations already surpassing this threshold amid stronger-than-forecast solar insolation and partial clearing after morning clouds. Japan Meteorological Agency models initially projected 23–25°C under light northerly winds and 20–30% precipitation odds, aligning with early May climatological normals of 23.1°C maximum, but actual readings peaked above 25°C during afternoon hours, boosted by high-pressure ridging and reduced humidity. With the daily peak window past and data stabilizing on Wunderground's historical records, revision risks are minimal barring rare post-finalization adjustments ignored by market rules; sustained cloudiness earlier would have been needed to cap below 25°C, now improbable. JMA evening updates may confirm the high.
