Mateus Alves, the higher-ranked Brazilian with a career-high ATP singles mark of 271, brings stronger recent momentum into the ITF M15 Maringá final after straight-set wins over Salvador Price, Tomás Martinez, and Jefferson Wendler Filho on the clay surface. Luis Felipe Miguel, ranked lower and competing primarily at Futures level, has posted solid form with a three-set victory over Herman Hoeyeraal but faces tougher opposition depth in this matchup. With no prior head-to-head history between the two, key variables include Alves’ greater experience against higher-ranked foes, Miguel’s ability to maintain consistency in longer rallies, and the final’s single-elimination pressure that often rewards the steadier serve and return game on clay.
