This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season per the rules of Venezuelan Primera División (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Venezuelan Primera División; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Multiple teams remain tightly bunched in the 2026 Liga FUTVE standings after the Apertura concluded with Deportivo La Guaira atop the table and the Clausura now in its early stages. Carabobo edges the runner-up market slightly on the back of strong prior campaign results and consistent goal output, while Deportivo Táchira, Metropolitanos, Academia Puerto Cabello, Portuguesa, and Universidad Central sit within a handful of points in both short tournaments. The split-season format, quadrangular playoff stages, and head-to-head tiebreakers amplify uncertainty, as any of the clustered sides can surge with improved form or favorable remaining fixtures. Official injury reports and lineup confirmations continue to shape short-term momentum without yet separating clear favorites for the season-long second-place finish.
