Kimmer Coppejans holds trader consensus edge into this ATP Challenger Barletta clay-court first-round clash against younger countryman Gilles Arnaud Bailly, driven by his 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 quarterfinal victory over Bailly in the Murcia Challenger just two weeks ago—their only prior head-to-head. Coppejans boasts a superior 2026 clay mark of 6-2 overall, including a Split Challenger semifinal run last week, versus Bailly's 2-2 on the surface amid recent losses like a straight-sets Alicante defeat. At No. 232 with a robust career 329-212 clay ledger and prior Barletta experience, the 32-year-old veteran stylistically matches up well against the No. 205 Bailly, whose promise is offset by inconsistency on red clay.
