**Tommy Lishman enters the Players Championship matchup against Connor Scutt as the 76% favorite in trader consensus, reflecting stronger recent momentum and scoring consistency in Pro Tour events.** Lishman, ranked around 118, has posted competitive averages and key wins in recent Players Championship rounds, including against established names, while maintaining solid form in lower-tier and local tournaments with high-80s to low-90s averages. Scutt, a higher-ranked (around 45) PDC Tour Card holder with multiple Players Championship runner-up finishes and major quarter-final appearances, brings proven experience and finishing ability but has shown mixed results in 2026 floor events, including early exits and variable scoring. In the short best-of-11-leg format typical of these events, Lishman’s current trajectory and matchup dynamics appear to outweigh Scutt’s historical edge, driving the implied probability without notable injury or roster developments altering the picture. Outcomes remain sensitive to doubles conversion and leg-by-leg variance common in darts.
