This market will resolve to the player who records the most assists through all rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player who completed more passes during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus reflects a highly competitive race for the most assists at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Marcel Sabitzer holding a slim 47% implied probability edge over a cluster of players at 45–45.5%, including Kaoru Mitoma, Martin Ødegaard, and others. This tight grouping stems from the broad pool of attacking midfielders and wingers across national teams, where assist totals depend on team attacking patterns, minutes played, and progression depth rather than any standout favorite. Comparable chances for players from varied squads keep the market bunched, as no individual has demonstrated a decisive historical or current edge in high-stakes international play.
