Recent polls ahead of Israel’s October 27 Knesset election show Likud projected at 21–23 seats, a decline from prior terms amid voter shifts toward newer parties such as Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar (around 24 seats) and Ofer Winter’s People of Israel. Netanyahu’s governing coalition bloc consistently polls below the 61-seat majority threshold, reflecting fragmentation on the right, internal Likud primaries, and debates over ultra-Orthodox draft exemptions. These trends, driven by prolonged security challenges and coalition dynamics, underpin trader consensus that Likud will lose seats relative to its previous representation.
