Emma Lene holds a clear edge over Swiss wild card Sarina Schnyder in this W35 Verbier 2 first-round clay-court matchup. The 27-year-old French player brings substantial senior ITF experience, a 2026 clay record near 23-9, and consistent recent results on the surface, including wins in Casablanca and Klagenfurt events. Schnyder, an 18-year-old junior standout with multiple J200 and J300 finals appearances, has minimal senior match play and a limited pro win-loss ledger, though she benefits from home-soil familiarity and recent competitive junior form. Lene’s superior ranking, physical maturity, and established baseline game on clay shape trader consensus around her as the heavy favorite.
