RC Lens holds a commanding six-point lead over Lille in the Ligue 1 table after 28 matches with 59 points, bolstered by a superior goal difference of +27, positioning them as 85% trader consensus for second place and a guaranteed Champions League group stage spot. PSG's insurmountable 63 points from 27 games locks first, shifting focus to the tight race for top-four finishes. Lille's recent four-match winning streak, including a 4-0 rout of Toulouse, has reclaimed third at 53 points but leaves them trailing despite playing more games; Marseille (52 pts), Lyon (51), and Monaco (49) lurk closely after mixed results, including Monaco's prior seven-win run halted by a Marseille loss. With four matchdays remaining, Lens's schedule strength and form sustain their dominance amid rivals' momentum.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
