The New York Yankees host the Miami Marlins in their home opener at Yankee Stadium, pitting young right-handers Eury Pérez (3.86 ERA in a strong seven-inning debut) against Will Warren (2.08 ERA over 4.1 innings) as both clubs enter at 5-1 with elite pitching staffs—Yankees leading MLB at 1.01 ERA and Marlins at 2.83. Recent hot streaks define trader consensus: Yankees allowing two or fewer runs in four of five games, Marlins erupting for 19 runs in their last two. Key absences include Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe (10-day IL, shoulder) and starter Carlos Rodón (15-day IL), plus Marlins outfielder Griffin Conine (day-to-day) and several IL stints. Home crowd energy and Yankee Stadium dimensions favor New York's power hitters like Aaron Judge amid early-season volatility.
