This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Kyle Schwarber’s early-season power surge, including becoming the first player to 20 home runs, has lifted him to the top of trader consensus for the Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter Award. Yordan Alvarez sits close behind on the strength of his .316 average and elite OPS while continuing as the Astros’ primary DH. Shohei Ohtani remains a factor based on his established track record, yet a slower start has tempered his implied probability relative to preseason rankings. The tight spread across the field reflects a wide-open race this deep into May, where consistent production, injury avoidance, and run support over the remaining five months will shape the final outcome among a deep group of qualified bats.
