This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Oklahoma City Thunder's lock as the No. 1 West seed and defending NBA champions, combined with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's near-certain repeat as regular-season MVP (96% implied probability across markets), drives trader consensus to price him at 37% for Finals MVP, reflecting his elite scoring, playmaking, and postseason pedigree from last year's title run. Victor Wembanyama's breakout sophomore campaign propelled the Spurs to the No. 2 West seed despite late rest amid load management, positioning him at 18% amid their contention path. Jaylen Brown's 14% share stems from Boston's strong No. 2 East standing and his prior Finals impact, while Nikola Jokic (11.5%) and surging Pistons duo Cade Cunningham (11%) and Chet Holmgren (10.5%) benefit from favorable brackets post-play-in results on April 14, with no major injuries altering rosters ahead of first-round matchups starting April 18.
