This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed team advances to Round 2 of the 2026 NHL Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to reach Round 2 of the 2026 NHL Playoffs (e.g. they are eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 NHL Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the results of the 2026 Playoffs first round have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL (https://www.nhl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs field finalized after recent clinchings by the Philadelphia Flyers (via shootout win over Carolina Hurricanes), Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, Ottawa Senators, and Boston Bruins, Eastern Conference first-round best-of-seven matchups are set: Buffalo Sabres vs. Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers, and Carolina Hurricanes vs. Ottawa Senators. Western pairings like Colorado Avalanche vs. Utah Mammoth, Dallas Stars vs. Minnesota Wild, Vegas Golden Knights, and Edmonton Oilers remain seeding-dependent on today's regular-season finale. Key trader considerations include home-ice advantage for higher seeds (2-2-1-1-1 format), elite goaltending edges (e.g., Vasilevskiy for Tampa), recent momentum from late surges, and injuries such as Montreal's Noah Dobson (upper-body, out early), Dallas' Roope Hintz (missing Games 1-2), and Colorado's Devon Toews/Nazem Kadri statuses. Playoffs tip off April 18 with no rest disparities.
