This market will resolve to "Yes" if a Tier 2 team wins the Stage 2 playoffs of any VCT 2026 international league (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, or China). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Tier 2 team means any team that is not one of the partnered (franchised) organizations of a VCT 2026 international league (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, or China). Whether the organization holds league partner status is the sole determinant. Teams that entered their league's Stage 2 through the Play-In path as Challengers or National Competition participants are examples of Tier 2 teams. Partnership status will be assessed as of the start of the relevant league's Stage 2. Winning Stage 2 means being declared the champion of a league's VCT 2026 Stage 2 championship bracket, whatever specific format that league uses to conclude its Stage 2. Winning a group, a Play-In, or any individual match will not qualify. If a Tier 2 team wins any league's Stage 2, this market will resolve to "Yes" immediately. A champion's Tier 2 status is determined by the facts as of the start of that league's Stage 2, regardless of when those facts are confirmed; only the champion declaration itself must occur within the timeframe below. This market will remain open until every league that has not been cancelled has declared its Stage 2 champion, or until September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, whichever comes first. If every non-cancelled league declares a champion and none is a Tier 2 team, this market will resolve to "No". If any league has not declared a champion by September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve based on the champions declared by that time, resolving to "No" if none is a Tier 2 team. If no league declares a Stage 2 champion by that time, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Riot Games and the VALORANT Champions Tour; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**VCT 2026 Stage 2 introduces four regional Challengers teams into each league’s Play-Ins double-elimination bracket alongside the lower seeds from the group stage, creating a direct pathway for Tier 2 sides to reach playoffs and contend for the regional title.** As of mid-August, with group play concluded and Play-Ins underway across Americas, EMEA, and Pacific, trader consensus at 50% reflects the format’s built-in volatility: established international league rosters hold experience and depth advantages, yet several Challengers squads have posted competitive results against Tier 1 opposition in recent splits and early Play-In matches. Momentum swings from roster stability, map pool familiarity on LAN, and bracket positioning in the upper/lower rounds remain decisive, while any extended run by an underdog into the main playoff bracket could rapidly shift implied probabilities either direction depending on match outcomes over the coming weeks.
