The Toronto Blue Jays enter game three of their series against the Minnesota Twins at Rogers Centre hampered by a growing injury list, highlighted by George Springer's fractured big toe suffered in Friday's 7-4 loss, alongside Alejandro Kirk's fractured thumb and Addison Barger's ankle sprain. Minnesota evened the series 1-1 with a seven-run third inning powered by Trevor Larnach's three-run homer and Brooks Lee's solo shot, showcasing offensive momentum against Eric Lauer's short outing. Probable starters Taj Bradley (2-0, 1.08 ERA) for the Twins and Max Scherzer (1-1, 3.38 ERA) for Toronto set a compelling pitching duel, with Minnesota's early-season edge in form tempered by Royce Lewis' knee issue. Jays' home advantage and recent hitting surge could counterbalance their roster depth concerns.
