Royal Challengers Bengaluru top the IPL 2026 points table with 8 points from 5 matches (4 wins, NRR +1.503) after a commanding five-wicket chase against Lucknow Super Giants on April 15, fueled by Virat Kohli's 49 and Rasikh Salam's 4/24, propelling their 25.5% implied probability as trader consensus favorite. Rajasthan Royals (18.9%) and Punjab Kings (18.5%) trail closely at 8 and 7 points respectively with identical 4-1 records earlier, showcasing strong starts post-November retentions including Kohli, Hazlewood, and Patidar for RCB, and balanced attacks for RR and PBKS. Mumbai Indians (15.5%) lurk despite an 18-run loss to RCB on April 12, as early-season T20 volatility, superior NRR battles, and 11 remaining league games keep the playoff race and championship tightly contested among these firepower-laden squads.
