Royal Challengers Bengaluru lead IPL 2026 championship trader consensus at the top of the points table with 8 points from 5 matches (4 wins, +1.503 NRR), boosted by their dominant 5-wicket chase over Lucknow Super Giants on April 15—dismissing LSG for 146 as Josh Hazlewood claimed 4/20—and Virat Kohli's Orange Cap-leading 228 runs in 5 innings. Rajasthan Royals match RCB's 8 points (+0.889 NRR) after early dominance including a win over Bengaluru, while unbeaten-in-three Punjab Kings sit third on 7 points (+0.720 NRR) as 2025 runners-up. Mumbai Indians trail closely despite a recent 18-run loss to RCB, with the top-four bunching reflecting defending champions RCB's retained core strength amid a fiercely competitive playoff race and 50+ matches left.
