Carlos Alcaraz leads the 2026 US Open men's winner market at 46.5% implied probability after Jannik Sinner's pre-tournament withdrawal with a knee injury opened the draw. The defending champion has advanced efficiently in his return from a four-month wrist layoff, extending a 17-match Grand Slam win streak while showing improving movement and confidence on hard courts. Alexander Zverev sits second at 21.3% as the new top seed but has required consecutive five-set battles early, raising questions about stamina despite his French Open title and consistent major results. American contenders Taylor Fritz (9.4%) and Ben Shelton (7.8%) benefit from home support and recent form, while Daniil Medvedev (6.1%) and others trail amid a competitive field where recent match outcomes and physical recovery continue to shape trader consensus.
