**Sinner's confirmed withdrawal from the 2026 US Open due to a right knee injury that has sidelined him since his Wimbledon title defense explains the sharp drop in his implied probability to near zero, opening the field for the remaining contenders.** Carlos Alcaraz leads at 33.5% on the strength of his elite hard-court record, including a long outdoor hard winning streak and prior US Open success, despite earlier wrist concerns limiting his recent match play. Alexander Zverev sits second at 20.8% as the consistent hard-court performer with multiple Masters 1000 titles on the surface and strong 2026 form. Novak Djokovic holds 8.9% as the veteran still capable of deep runs on hard courts. Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz follow as rising Americans leveraging home-surface familiarity and recent results, while the rest of the field reflects depth among players like Arthur Fils and Frances Tiafoe who have shown flashes on hard courts but face tougher paths against the top tier. Trader consensus prices these probabilities based on official injury reports, current rankings, and hard-court trends heading into the late-August start.
