The Esports World Cup 2026 North America qualifier for League of Legends pits all eight LCS teams in a double-elimination online bracket from April 14-29, with seeding from LCS Lock-In results and the winner securing a main event slot (runner-up if they also win LCS Spring). Recent matches through April 16 saw upsets in the upper quarterfinals, as lower-seeded LYON swept Shopify Rebellion 2-0 and FlyQuest edged top seed Team Liquid 2-1, while Cloud9 and Sentinels delivered 2-0 wins over Dignitas and Disguised; lower round one eliminated SR and DIG via losses to TL and DSG. Trader consensus reflects upper bracket advantages for LYON, FlyQuest, Cloud9, and Sentinels ahead of April 21 semifinals, amid Fearless Draft Bo3s emphasizing adaptability in a volatile meta.
