Kagiso Rabada secured the IPL 2026 Purple Cap as the season's leading wicket-taker with 29 scalps in 17 matches at an economy rate of 9.68 for Gujarat Titans. His consistent pace bowling, including sharp bouncers and yorkers, allowed him to overtake Bhuvneshwar Kumar's tally of 28 wickets in the closing stages, including during the final. This performance marked Rabada's second Purple Cap, underscoring his edge in a competitive bowling attack amid Gujarat Titans' strong campaign. The market's near-certain pricing reflects the completed tally with no further matches possible. Only an official revision to match statistics or a rare administrative correction could alter the outcome.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by the rules of the IPL. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the bowler with the lower bowling average during the 2026 IPL season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed player to win the 2026 IPL Purple Cap per the rules of IPL (e.g., they are unable to record the most wickets due to injury, disqualification), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 IPL season is cancelled, postponed after June 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from IPL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
